Day 01. Surabaya (airport/hotel) – Cemara Lawang

Mount Bromo Ijen Blue fire Tour 3 days 2nightst | We pick you up at your hotel or the airport in Surabaya (Juanda Airport). We drove for approximately four hours to the village of Cemara Lawang. We overnight in the Bromo area, where you can stay in a hotel overlooking the landscape and the nd volcano Bromo.

Day 02. Mount Bromo sunrise tour – Ijen | Bromo Ijen tour

You will be woken up at 03.00 a.m., have a cup of coffee or tea before we leave for a short drive – 40 minutes – to Pananjakan, the highest viewpoint in the area, to see the sunrise. But, of course, whether you can see the sunrise depends on the weather conditions. Then we will descend to the Sea of Sand to see the crater of Mount Bromo.

Afterwards, we go back to the hotel to have breakfast. After that, we continue our trip and drive around 4 hours to Pasir Putih Beach to have lunch at a beachside restaurant.

Hereafter, we drive for another 3 hours before we arrive at the village Sempol/Blawan (Ijen area) to pass the night. You have time to explore the surroundings and spend some leisure time in the hotel if you like. There is, among others, a hot spring in the area.

Day 03. Ijen trekking – Surabaya | Bromo Ijen tour

Around 01:00 am, the Ijen expedition tea will bring you to the parking area of Mount Ijen, around 50 minutes from the hotel. This trip crossed the Arabica coffee plantation.

After arriving at the parking area, continued trekking to the Ijen crater it’s needed around 1.5 to 2 hours. Trekking to the Ijen crater about 3Km ( 2.386m ). Enjoying the wonderful blue fire/blue flame and acid lake.

After sunrise, the Ijen expedition team will bring you back to the parking area. On the way, you can see the beautiful panorama and the sulfur miners.

Around 1 hour, you will arrive di the parking area, here you can drink some coffee or tea. After that, we continue to drive back to Surabaya on the same route to Ijen. And the tour program finishes.

Estimate time of arrival in Surabaya (airport) around 03.00 pm If you arrive in Surabaya before noon, you will go to Ijen on the first day.
