Pendakian kawah Ijen di tutup Sementara pada 03 Januari 2024
Bagi para pecinta wisata alam, khususnya pendakian gunung, berita penutupan sementara Kawah Ijen tentu menjadi kabar yang kurang sedap. Namun, daripada kecewa, ada baiknya kita menyimak dulu alasan di balik penutupan ini.
Melalui Surat Edaran No. 01/K2/BIDTEK.1/KSA/01/2024, Balai Besar Konservasi Sumber Daya Alam (BKSDA) Jawa Timur mengumumkan penutupan sementara kegiatan kunjungan wisata di Kawah Ijen mulai tanggal 3 Januari 2024. Penutupan ini dilakukan hingga batas waktu yang tidak ditentukan.
Alasan Penutupan dan Tujuannya
Penutupan Kawah Ijen bukan dilakukan tanpa alasan. Menurut pihak BKSDA, terdapat dua tujuan utama dari penutupan ini:
- Evaluasi kegiatan kunjungan wisata alam selama tahun 2023. Evaluasi ini meliputi jumlah wisatawan, dampak ekonomi yang dihasilkan dari kegiatan wisata, serta dampak lingkungan yang terjadi akibat aktivitas pariwisata.
- Persiapan kegiatan kunjungan wisata alam tahun 2024. Persiapan ini mencakup peningkatan sarana dan prasarana wisata, seperti perbaikan jalur pendakian, pembangunan toilet, dan penyediaan tempat sampah. Selain itu, pihak BKSDA juga akan mengembangkan program-program wisata yang berkelanjutan, misalnya dengan mengadakan edukasi bagi wisatawan tentang pentingnya menjaga kelestarian alam.

- Penutupan Kawah Ijen berlaku mulai tanggal 3 Januari 2024 dan sampai batas waktu yang tidak ditentukan.
- Selama penutupan, semua kegiatan wisata di Kawah Ijen, baik pendakian, wisata alam, maupun wisata lainnya, akan dihentikan.
- Informasi terbaru terkait pembukaan Kawah Ijen dapat diikuti melalui website resmi BKSDA Jawa Timur atau media sosial terkait.
