KAWAH IJEN

Indonesia’s Kawah Ijen Volcano, on the island of Java, has two of the most unusual occurrences on Earth. The first is an active solfatara that emits hot, flammable sulfurous gases. These ignite as they enter Earth’s oxygen-rich atmosphere and burn with an electric blue flame. Some of the gas condenses in the atmosphere to produce flows of molten sulfur that also burn with an electric blue flame. The flames are difficult to see during the day but illuminate the landscape at night.

The second occurrence is a one-kilometer-wide caldera lake filled with turquoise-blue water. The color of the water is a result of its extreme acidity and high concentration of dissolved metals. It is the world’s largest highly acidic lake with a measured pH as low as 0.5. The cause of its acidity is an inflow of hydrothermal waters charged with gases from a hot magma chamber below.

MOUNT BROMO

Mt. Bromo volcano in East Java is the active cone inside the giant Tengger caldera, one of Indonesia’s most scenic locations destination in East Java, famous for its magnificent sunrise views and the panorama over the caldera with Semeru volcano in the background.

Standing firmly as high as 2,329 meters above sea level, Mount Bromo holds natural beauty that is a pity to miss. This active volcano is administratively located in four regencies in East Java, including Malang Regency, Pasuruan, Lumajang, and Probolinggo. This makes it easy for tourists to come from any direction. This mountain is part of Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park and has become the most famous tourist spot in the province of East Java.

ITINERARY

Day1: Surabaya– Bromo Hotel

The Ijen expedition tour team will pick you up at your hotel or at the airport in Surabaya (Juanda Airport). We drive for approximately four hours to the village of Cemara Lawang. We overnight in the Bromo area, where you can stay in a hotel overlooking the landscape andthe volcano Bromo. If we come before at 4, we can take a picture of the sunset in Mount Bromo

the 4WD Jeep will bring you to the world’s most famous viewpoint at Mt Penanjakan to take a picture milky Way and take a picture for sunrise with its young volcanic including Mt Bromo and an active Mt Semeru in the background is breathtaking the play light shadow with sunrise reaches the mountain succession from the top to the bottom and the usual fog of the caldera afterward continue horse riding to Sea Sand, Savana and back to the hotel for having breakfast and free program untill 02.00 pm.

Then visit Madakaripura waterfall. This spectacular waterfall lies hidden at the end of a deep valley in the foothills of the Tengger range. The water has cascaded from the dense forest above. The primary attraction is its natural environment,t which is encircled by 7 waterfalls and caves. Back to the hotel, rest and relax.

Day 2: night shoot -Bromo Sunrise (Bromo crater) – Banyuwangi city

At 01:000 am, the 4WD Jeep will bring you to the world’s most famous viewpoint at Mt Bromo to see sunrise with a human interest shoot. afterwards, went back to the hotel for breakfast, loaded bags, and then checked out of the hotel. Moving toward Banyuwangi, it will take around 4 – 5 hours driving to check in hotel. We will stay overnight in Banyuwangi 

Day 3 : Banyuwangi-Ijen Blue Flame

At 12.00 am will bring you to the villages of Licin and then continue to the slope of Mt Ije,n passing through the plantation and rainforest. This is one of the few remaining on the island of Java. The journey is approximately 1.20 hours by Jeep. arrive at the parking area, MtIjene.n Approximately 2-3 hours will be required to ascend the slope of Mt Ijen to reach the peak of Ijen Crater and along the path. You will enjoy stunning natural scenery with fresh air. resting on the edge of the crater at an altitude of 2.386 M and enjoying the best panorama.

Afterward, back to the hotel around 09.00 am, then at 11.00 am, we will continue to drop youoff  at Surabaya airport, and the program finish
