🏔️ Day 1: Pick-Up – Transfer to Bromo (Cemara Lawang Area)

We’ll pick you up from Juanda International Airport, your hotel in Surabaya, or any other agreed-upon location. Then, we head straight to Cemara Lawang, a village on the rim of Mount Bromo National Park. The journey takes approximately 3–4 hours.

Check into your hotel or homestay with a direct view of the Bromo landscape. Take time to relax and prepare for the early morning adventure.

🌅 Day 2: Bromo Sunrise Tour – Transfer to Ijen (Banyuwangi)

Wake-up call: 02.30 AM
At 03.00 AM, we’ll hop into a 4WD jeep to reach the Penanjakan viewpoint, where you’ll witness the world-famous Mount Bromo sunrise. As daylight breaks, you’ll see the incredible volcanic landscape, including Mount Semeru (the highest volcano in Java), Mount Batok, and the steaming Bromo crater.

After sunrise, we’ll drive to the sea of sand and walk (or ride a horse) to the base of Mount Bromo. From here, climb the 225 steps to the crater’s rim to enjoy a panoramic view of the active volcano.

Return to the hotel for breakfast and a short rest. After checkout, we’ll begin the journey to Banyuwangi, the gateway to Mount Ijen (approx. 6–7 hours).

🔥 Day 3: Ijen Blue Fire Trek – Transfer to Sukamade Turtle Beach

Pick-up time: Around 12:30 AM (midnight)
We’ll depart early for the Ijen Crater adventure. The drive to Paltuding (Ijen basecamp) takes about 1 hour. From there, we’ll start a 3 km hike to the crater rim (elevation: 2,799 meters).

On the way, we’ll rest at Pos Bunder (Circle Post) before continuing to the rim. To see the rare Blue Fire phenomenon, we’ll carefully descend into the crater with a local guide (gas masks are provided). The blue flames are caused by burning sulfuric gases and can only be seen before dawn.

After witnessing this magical event, we’ll watch the sunrise and admire the turquoise acidic crater lake, one of the largest in the world.

After the trek, enjoy a hot drink at the basecamp and relax before heading to our next destination: Sukamade Beach in Meru Betiri National Park (approx. 3 hours’ drive through jungle and plantations).

🐢 Turtle Watching at Sukamade

Arriving in the afternoon, you’ll check into a simple guesthouse and enjoy a peaceful sunset on the beach. At night (around 7:30 PM), join park rangers for an unforgettable turtle conservation experience — watch sea turtles crawl ashore to lay eggs under the moonlight.

🌴 Day 4: Morning at Sukamade – Drop Off at Ketapang or Surabaya

After breakfast, explore the surroundings of Sukamade. You may even get the chance to participate in the release of baby turtles (tukik) into the ocean — a heartwarming and rare activity.

Later, we’ll drive back and drop you off at Ketapang Harbour (for Bali-boundtravellerss) or return to Surabaya.

Sukamade is a secluded beach in Rajegwesi Village, Pesanggaran, Banyuwangi, located within Meru Betiri National Park. It was first established as a turtle conservation site by Dutch colonialists in 1927.

Here, you can find four species of sea turtles:

• Green Turtle (Chelonia mydas) – Most common
• Olive Ridley (Lepidochelys olivacea)
• Hawksbill (Eretmochelys imbricata)
• Leatherback (Dermochelys coriacea)
