Day 01: Arrival | Yogyakarta Bromo Ijen tour

When you arrive at Adi Sucipto Airport Yogyakarta you will be met by our driver who will transfer you to The Hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure for individual activities.

Day 02 : Borobudur & Prambanan Temple

Morning earlier at 06.00 – 06.30 AM depart 42 km to the NW of Yogyakarta to visit Borobudur. A UNESCO world heritage site. 8th-century Buddhist monument, the world’s largest. 7 terraces to the top represent the steps from the earthly realm to Nirvana. Reliefs depicting the birth, enlightenment and death of the Buddha. Extra visit to Pawon and Mendut temples located nearby and are believed to have been built on one straight line with the Borobudur.

The journey then continued to the beautiful Hindhu Temple of Prambanan and Sewu Temples. Afterwards back to the hotel.

Day 03: Yogyakarta – Bromo Area | Yogyakarta Bromo Ijen tour

After having breakfast at your hotel, our driver will pick you up then escort you to the Mount Bromo area around a 10-11 hours drive. Including a stop on the way for visiting Mangkunegaran Palace & Antique Market in Solo. Lunch will be served on the way to a local restaurant. Arrive Bromo area, you will stay and overnight there. Then free leisure.

Day 04: Penanjakan Sunrise View | Yogyakarta Bromo Ijen tour

You will be wakened up at 03.00 a.m., have a cup of coffee or tea before we leave for a short drive – 40 minutes – to Pananjakan, the highest viewpoint in the area to see the sunrise. But, of course, whether you can see the sunrise depends on the weather conditions. Then we will descend to the Sea of Sand to see the crater of mount Bromo.

Afterwards, we go back to the hotel to have breakfast. After that, we continue our trip and drive around 4 hours to Pasir Putih Beach to have lunch at a beachside restaurant.

Hereafter, we drive for another 3 hours before we arrive at the village of Sempol/Blawan (Ijen area) to pass the night. You have time to explore the surroundings and spend some leisure time in the hotel if you like. There is, among others, a hot spring in the area.

Day 05: Ijen Volcano & Bali | Yogyakarta Bromo Ijen tour

At 12.30 AM, our Ijen Discovery vehicle will carry you to Paltuding (start point of Ijen Crater). From the Park, the Ranger post starts the 90-minute hike to Ijen Crater Blue Fire. The stunning unveils at 2383 meters. The lake’s eerie colour and smoke wafting from bright yellow sulfur deposits create the landscape desolate, barren and vibrantly alive.

Sulfur miners emerge carrying up to 80 kilograms of ores in a bamboo basket on their shoulders, climbing up along the treacherous path. After exploring Ijen Crater, We will drive down back to Banyuwangi Town for Breakfast and check out, then directly drive to Bali Island.
