Day 01: Pick up from Bali | Bali Ijen crater Bromo Yogyakarta 5 Day 4 Night

Start from your hotel in Bali (Denpasar, Sanur, Kuta or Ubud area), Our staff will take you to the most western tip of Bali to reach Gilimanuk ferry port for about 3 hours by a private car with AC then from Gilimanuk Harbor, We will take a ferry to cross Bali strait for about 1 hour to reach Ketapang ferry port of Banyuwangi in the most eastern tip of Java Island.

On this trip, we will pass through the rural landscapes of West Bali. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant on the way. Upon arrival in Ketapang ferry port then proceed for a short city tour in Banyuwangi.

End of the afternoon, drives up to the Hotel to stay overnight and have dinner before we can enjoy the Ijen Crater Tours on next morning.

Day 02: Ijen Blue Flames

Early wake-up call and having Breakfast, our Ijen Discovery vehicle will carry you to Ijen Crater. Lush vegetation, clove, and coffee plantations precede the rainforest, where humidity, wildlife, giant ferns, and big trees cover this 2468 ha nature reserve. From the Park, the Ranger post starts the 90-minute hike to Ijen Crater. The stunning unveils at 2383 meters.

The lake’s eerie colour and smoke wafting from bright yellow sulfur deposits create a landscape desolate, barren, and vibrantly alive. Sulfur miners emerge carrying up to 80 kilograms of ore in bamboo baskets on their shoulders, climbing up along the treacherous path.

After exploring Ijen Crater, we will drive back down to Banyuwangi Town, then directly drive to the Mount Bromo area for about 4-5hours, including a stop on the way to have lunch at a local restaurant. Upon your arrival in the Mt. Bromo area, you will stay at the Lava View Lodge or Bromo Cottages or Cemara Indah or Java Banana Hotel Bromo or similar, which overlook the active volcano of Mount Bromo, Batok, and Mount Kursi around the Tengger region for your enjoyable stay.

Day 03 : Bromo Sunrise Penanjakan | Bali Ijen crater Bromo Yogyakarta 5 Day 4 Night

At 3 AM early morning, the 4WD (JEEP) will bring you to the world’s most famous viewpoint at Mount Pananjakan on the rim of the Tengger caldera to see sunrise with its young volcanic including Mount Bromo and an active Mount Semeru in the background is breathtaking the play light shadow with sunrise reach Mountain succession from the top to the bottom and the usual fog of the caldera.

Afterwards, the adventure continues to an active Mount Bromo volcano. Then will take you back to the hotel for breakfast, take a shower, pack, load the bags into the car and then transfer them out to Yogyakarta. It will take about 10-11 hours, including a stop on the way to have lunch at a local restaurant. You will be in the Yogyakarta area in the evening, then stay overnight at the Yogyakarta hotel and have dinner.

Day 04 : Borobudur & Prambanan Temple | Bali Ijen crater Bromo Yogyakarta 5 Day 4 Night

Morning, earlier at 06.00 – 06.30 AM, depart 42 km to the NW of Yogyakarta to visit Borobudur. A UNESCO World Heritage site. 8th-century Buddhist monument, the world’s largest. 7 terraces to the top represent the steps from the earthly realm to Nirvana. Reliefs depict the birth, enlightenment, and death of the Buddha.

Extra visits to Pawon and Mendut temples, located nearby, are believed to have been built on one straight line with the Borobudur. The journey then continued to the beautiful Hindu Temple of Prambanan and the Sewu Temples. Afterwards, back to the hotel.

Day 05: Departure

Breakfast at the hotel. Free program until check out and departure to Yogyakarta airport for flight home (According to your flight schedule). End of service.
