🗓️ Itinerary – Bromo Ijen Tour 3D2N

Day 1: Arrival in Surabaya – Transfer to Mount Bromo

Our driver will pick you up from Juanda International Airport, your hotel, or Surabaya train station. The drive to Mount Bromo area takes approximately 3–4 hours. Check in at your accommodation near Bromo and enjoy the rest of the evening at your leisure.

Day 2: Mount Bromo Sunrise Tour – Transfer to Banyuwangi

Wake up early at 03:00 AM, and hop on a 4WD Jeep to Mount Penanjakan, the most famous viewpoint on the rim of the Tengger caldera. Watch the magical sunrise unfold over the dramatic landscape of Mount Bromo, with Mount Semeru steaming in the background.

After sunrise, continue your adventure by crossing the Sea of Sand and hiking up 253 steps to the crater rim of Mount Bromo.

Return to the hotel for breakfast and a quick refresh. Then check out and head towards Banyuwangi (approx. 5-hour drive), with a lunch stop along the way. Arrive in Banyuwangi in the late afternoon and check into your hotel.

Day 3: Ijen Blue Fire Tour – Drop-off at Ketapang Ferry Port

At 00:30 AM, we’ll pick you up for the Ijen Blue Fire trekking experience. The drive to Paltuding (the basecamp) takes about 1.5 hours through lush rainforest and coffee plantations.

Start a 3 km hike (90 minutes) to the top of Mount Ijen. Witness the surreal blue flames igniting from the sulfur vents—a rare natural phenomenon only found in two places on Earth.

From the crater rim (2,383 meters), enjoy a breathtaking view of the turquoise sulfuric lake—the world’s largest acidic crater lake.

Watch sulfur miners carrying heavy loads of up to 80kg down the crater. This awe-inspiring view showcases the harsh yet incredible beauty of nature and human endurance.

After descending and returning to the parking area, transfer back to your hotel for breakfast and checkout.
Then, we’ll drop you off at Ketapang Ferry Port, the gateway to Bali.
