Day 01: Surabaya –  Mount Bromo Area

Your exciting Bromo Ijen adventure begins in Surabaya! Our friendly driver will meet you conveniently at your hotel, train station, or airport. We’ll then embark on a scenic drive through Java’s landscapes, reaching the enchanting Mount Bromo area in approximately 3-4 hours. Upon arrival, we’ll escort you to your comfortable hotel, allowing you to unwind and prepare for the captivating adventures in Mount Bromo.

Day 02: Mount Bromo Tour & Transfer to Ijen Crater Area

Our Mount Bromo adventure begins early! We’ll depart around 3:30 AM (with an even earlier start on weekends to avoid crowds). Your jeep will take you to Penanjakan viewpoint, renowned for offering the most breathtaking sunrise in East Java, with majestic mountains and volcanoes as your backdrop.

From there, the jeep will continue your journey to the iconic Bromo sea of sand. We’ll stop at the designated parking area, where you can choose to explore the sands by horseback (optional) or on foot. Your chosen path will lead you to the foot of Mount Bromo, where stairs ascend to the crater rim.

The Ijen Blue Fire Tour begins at 1:00 AM. Our comfortable car will transport you to Paltuding, the starting point for our trek to Ijen Crater. This scenic journey takes approximately 1 hour from your hotel. Upon arrival at the Ijen Crater parking area, prepare for a moderate 1.5 to 2-hour hike up the slope of the crater. To reach the mesmerizing blue flames, a further 30-minute descent is required (sporty shoes with good tread are essential).

Reaching the bottom of the Ijen Crater, you’ll witness the awe-inspiring blue flames, a truly unique phenomenon found nowhere else on Earth. As the sun begins to rise, enjoy a breathtaking climb back up the crater rim, where you’ll be rewarded with stunning panoramic views, fresh mountain air, and shady areas to rest.
